We are planning on Friday as well. Should be a perfect day for some sun and fun. We will go down to the fence and then come back a few hundred feet. Our kik is funtxbeachcpl
Love to make some new beach friends. We usually get there around noon or so.

Just got back from sabine pass side. They have moved the fence to the east quite a bit. There were a few people out still but it will get crowded this summer. Does anyone know how long it will be closed?

Yes, we saw they moved the fence to about the 2 mile mark. The project was supposed to be done December 2023. But, it’s the govt, so there’s that…
We did go last Saturday, and it was crowded for the first mile. But still able to get comfortable down towards the fence.

I'm afraid it will be hard to get naked on a good weekend. There will be people all the way to the fence. A little over a mile less beach is going to make a big difference.

i was headed that way today and got a call to come back home i just got to winnie. it looks like we might flood in tonight sometime guessing around 10 if the water keeps coming up as fast as it is right now. |
