I got there about noon, didn't see anyone in a car 3 miles in so I guess he didn't get stuck. I usually drive about 8-10 miles, somewhere around the old pier as it is usually pretty isolated, not a lot of people, and you can see trucks coming from a long way off, plenty of time to cover up in case it is the GW.

I didnt get stuck thankfully but I will not be out there today as I’m back home on the northwest side of houston. I will come back next weekend though if one of yall can give me a ride on that dirt road

I'm out of town all this week on business, not sure if I will be back in for a weekend at the beach and the weather looks like it going to be pretty cool next weekend. If you go by yourself, check the tide, low tide is much easier if you have a car.
