Went this past Monday. Very few folks there. You could have plenty of privacy.

FM 457 out of Bay City takes you right to it.
Hit the beach and go east or north east and lots of open beach after a mile or so of beach houses.
We just discovered Sargent earlier this year and will definitely be back. We are tired of the BS at McFadden after going for over 25 years. funtexnudecupl@aol.com

So are you able to be naked most of the time? Any problems with police ? McFadden has become very difficult to navigate as well as problems with the law.

I would be VERY interested in getting a small group together and camp on the beach. Would be a good way to check out the beach and safer not being alone. I have a portable shower that will support 3 or 4 people for a couple days/nights.

A beach permit is required. 10$. Bought one but didnt attach it to the windshield. Didnt see anyone checking for them either.

Federal cops writing tickets on a beach ?

I'm going to try and go to Sargent beach in the very near future. I want to bring my teardrop and stay a couple days. Please post if/when you go. It would be nice to meet someone and make new friends.

We are heading to north Padre island for a few days. May stop at Sargent on the way home Saturday. Will report if we do.
