Wife and I just returned from a few naked days in Cozumel. Looking to extend our tanning season.
Is McFadden passable from high island now?

It wasn’t a few weeks ago. Coming in from Sabine pass side wasn’t a bad drive at all. I’m going to try to make it some time during the week next week when the sun is out.

No. I found it the hard way. Had to turn around and go back to Sabine Pass. I haven’t seen anything about it either. Might be able to find something on McFadden wildlife refuge website.

Sounds like it won't reopen completely till next year. Hopefully they will open it in sections so we can access 10 miles in from the High Island side sooner than later.

Last I read was going to take possible a couple years. They are blocking off a 5 mile stretch at a time
