Nude at Bryans Beach

I don't think High Island, Sabine Pass and McFaddin Beach will be opening any time soon. From what I gather, it will be closed for a while. At least this entire season. I say we go nude at Bryan's beach, or Surfside, or is there any other place y'all think would be a good place to go that is not too far out of the area.

I went yesterday on McFadden and went all the way to the fence. Stayed nude all day. There were 3 or 4 people. Some were fishing some laying out. All were nude.

Two quick questions, if y’all please, from a frequent Eighties/Nineties visitor to McFaddin, with little recent experience:

It seems to be best to enter from the Sabine Pass end. Correct?

It is feasible to use a 2WD pickup truck, with aired-down all-terrain tires, to get at least reasonably close to the traditional nude area?

In the Eighties, I used a 2WD VW Bug, so, have some experience using 2WD in sand. In the Nineties, I used 4WD. I know that conditions have gotten worse, over time. I may try to buy a Toyota 4Runner, but that will probably be next year, at the soonest. I am shopping for winches, that can be plugged into 2” receivers, but may not buy one until June or July..

Unfortunately, my nude-all-day girlfriend, from the mid-Nineties, is no longer part of the equation. She was definitely turned-on by being able to “feel the breeze” all over her body. She would lose her pants, on the road trip to the beach, and then strip off her top as soon as we reached the beach. Two other lady friends, from those good decades, would not go nude, in public, preferring to using teeny weeny bikinis, but were OK if I went nude. Now retired, it is time to start doing some solo day trips, again, more frequently.

Yes for the time being you need to enter from the Sabine Pass side. I was down yesterday and only used 2wd the transverse the beach to fence.

Thanks for the beach conditions update. I may well try to drive out there, some time this week. The Sabine Pass route is a long drive, from the SW Houston metro area, but just getting out of the city, on occasion, is a desirable goal.

Well, I just did an internet search, and it appears that Bryan Beach is “clothing optional,” so, I am definitely going to check it out, soon, as it is much closer to the SW part of the Houston metro area, where I live. I do still have a deep attachment to McFaddin and Bolivar area, from when I lived in the Baytown area, and Bryan Beach is tiny, at only three miles long, but a closer place, to SW Houston, to work on renewing my tan, is also good. As our neighborhood is gradually shifting to new multi-story homes, it is becoming less feasible to be naked in the back yard.

One web site mentioned that Bryan Beach was “clothing optional.” That site had so little useful information, that I did not save the link. It is certainly possible that the author of that write-up was misinformed. That is why I said I wanted to “check it out.” That meant I wanted to do a “recon” of the area. When I have more time, I will repeat my search, on-line, to see it I can find that site.

The only officially nude public “beach” in Texas is Hippie Hollow. I did not mean to imply that any other public beach, in Texas, is truly “clothing optional.” Other places are clothing-optional by tradition, practice, and/or what the local law enforcement will tolerate.

Well, I have yet to do a recon at Bryan Beach. I will finish looking after some folks’ dogs, tomorrow, when that family returns home, so, freedom starts Thursday. Meanwhile, I have been working on getting a bit of a tan on my feet and legs, at least, while I am at the dogs’ family’s house. There is a wonderful pool and patio, but, no privacy.
