Anyone going this weekend? Boyfriend and I are going to camp and have a nice fire (if that's allowed). Would like to meet some people and get to know the area.

Not this weekend, maybe next. How are the roads? Camping would be great this time of the year as it's still not hot yet. Wife and I like to get naked, but we don't want to get in any trouble. We would like to hear from anyone who has been down there recently to get details on the beach front conditions. We wouldn't want to put the tent up only to find the tide waters are high this time of year or it's been washed away.

And how far did you make it onto the beach. I sure can’t wait to get hot so I can get there and spend the day or evening there.

Next Tuesday the 17th of April supposed to be in the 80s there I m planning to go there. Do you know how far you need to driver onto the beach to be on the safe side and get nude ?? I have seen border and wile life patrol few times there driving east and west on the beach. And also some lookers that maybe waiting on someone else to take their clothes first before they take theirs off.

Went done this past Thursday. The beach road was not bad at all. I do have a 4wd vehicle but as long as you don't stop you should be fine. The sand is much firmer near the water's edge. I went down past the 3 mile marker where the bush is sticking out near the water. You will now it when you see it, it's in an odd spot. It also kinda hides you if you travel past it alttle bit. There is also a small wooden boat that washed up and is up high and dry near the fence. It would have made a nice picture had I taken my good camera. I was able to travel to where there is a gate near the end and there is a high spot. Road was fine and drive-able, however past that point it would be rough. The road narrows at that point and is close to the water. I watched a jeep travel past that point and spoke with them when they returned. They said they much have traveled about 8 miles and past that 2-3 mile nasty stretch it's nice. Not sure I would have ventured it though,... maybe with other 4wd. vehicles in a group. Other that that I saw NO law. Got naked and had a great time. I can see camping in the future!! Some of fire wood around the beach but bring alittle just in case. Very windy,.. didn't like that.

Anyone planning on going next week? I need to call on some customers out that way and wouldn't mind spending the afternoon there.
