We are heading down there today, saturday, and plan to go in from the Sabine Pass side about 1 pm or so. Just gonna see how far we can go in that way. We hope hope to meet some folks to visit with as well.

Yes Crystalbeacher, but with the same level of caution that you use coming in on the High Island side. Just go in about 5 miles. There's a pretty nice place right there.
