Sometimes not at all but usually once a day about mid-afternoon. But I have also seen them out in the morning and sometimes they will roll through again in the afternoon. I guess it just depends on how bored they are and if they need to make a little extra money by trying to find someone completely nude so they can write them a ticket. As long as you have at least a thong on or wrap up with a towel, you'll be ok. And the GW usually drives a very dark grey truck.

Thanks for all the info on the beach. Looking to get out of Houston this week and enjoy the beach however, the thought of getting stuck is scary. Any suggestions to avoid this? Thanks! Keith

The best way to avoid getting stuck is to go in with a 4x4. Short of that, watch out for loose sand and take a tow rope with you just in case you get stuck. There are usually plenty of people with 4x4s running around but not all of them carry tow ropes and even fewer have a winch. If you want to be able to get yourself out, take along a shovel and a couple of 4-5 foot boards that you can use to put in front of the tire(s) that are stuck after you dig it out a bit. You can also reduce your tire pressure to about 12-15 pounds but you must carry an inflator with you in order to air back up once you come off the beach. Good luck, be safe, and enjoy the sun, looks like it is going to be a great week to get an all over tan!! And one more thing, if you are going to attempt to drive along the beach in a 2WD, I recommend you check the tides and only venture out if the tide is less than one foot during the entire time you will be on the beach. Will be there Tuesday and hoping a 4 wheel drive can follow me in.

Hi all, I’m a bi curious guy , never been to nude beach but sounds cool to be naked in the outdoors. I’d like to find some like minded people. Couples or guys or gals to hang with to get a feel for the culture. How should I proceed to make myself inviting to others to stop by?

No u won’t from the looks of it. Is the sand to soft? I was planning on going there tomorrow but I drive a 2wd suv and don't want to get stuck. Was looking at driving only about 3 to 4 miles down |
