I've been a few times but definitely looking forward to warmer days and getting out to the beach as much as possible this year but it will mostly be limited to nice weekends.

Hopefully this year I get to meet or see new people. It’s always lonely every time I go. I drive about 10miles into the beach I think. I would be there by myself other than saying hi to every vehicle that would pass by lol

That's about where I go usually as the beach is pretty wide there, not as many people drive up that far, and you can see other vehicles coming up to a mile away in both directions. I wish it was going to be nicer this weekend, I could really go for a day out in the sun!

I think I am going to try and head out Sunday afternoon. Weather says probably overcast then clearing and temps in the mid 70s so think I may give it a try. Hopefully see some people out and about on the beach, taking a break from all of the craziness going on.

Does anyone know if the beach will be closed tomorrow or at all? I heard they closed Galveston beaches, but havent heard anything about Bolivar/McFaddin. I am going to take a ride out tomorrow, hopefully it will be open.

Just FYI. I've been going everyday since April 20th and its been great. I usually drive in about 10 miles to the old piers just to make sure I am far enough in to sunbathe nude. Its probably not necessary to go in that far, but its a much better stretch of beach and hardly anyone comes down that far. You should have a 4x4 to get there.
